2 Million People Visit the Designer Outlet Algarve

20 November 2018

The Designer Outlet Algarve received two million visitors during the month of its one-year anniversary, “numbers that exceed the initial forecasts for the first year” – the shopping centre’s management stated. Beyond the Portuguese shoppers who account for the vast majority of mall’s visitors, visitors also frequently come from the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Spain.

“The balance for our first year has been exceedingly positive, surpassing our expectations and confirming that the Algarve is lively all year long,” says Miguel Guerreiro, the managing director of the Designer Outlet Algarve. “One year after opening, we are already adding value to the region, it also contributes to our being visited throughout the year by Portuguese and foreign buyers. We are renewing ourselves every day, either by opening new stores or through cultural initiatives and permanent campaigns. All this makes us also a safe bet for brands that want to open their stores here.”

To mark the shopping centre’s first anniversary, the outlet has prepared a “party” that includes opportunities and surprises, in addition to standard discounts of 30 to 70% offered through the year.
