The Alagoa Office & Retail Center to Open in Carcavelos

The Alagoa Office & Retail Center is under development in Lisbon’s Western Corridor, next to the Nova SBE Campus, at the site of the old Legrand factory in Carcavelos.
The real estate consultancy JLL was chosen by PV County to take over an exclusive marketing mandate for the offices.
The project will add approximately 15,000 m2 of offices to the market, distributed in five new buildings with an average area of 3,000 m2 per property. According to the consultancy, it is one of the most highly anticipated office projects for the area at a moment when there is a high level of demand for larger office spaces.
The Alagoa Office & Retail Center is located just a few minutes away from Nova SBE’s new campus, one of the largest and most international Portuguese universities. It is located in a multipurpose development, which also includes retail stores, restaurants, a health club and accommodations for university students. It benefits from easy access to the A5 motorway (Lisbon-Cascais) and will also have the Mobicascais service, an electric bus every 10 minutes to the train station. The development is also located near the Quinta da Alagoa public park, which has about 45,000 m2 of greenery.
Mariana Rosa, the director of JLL’s Office Agency department, revealed that the “Office Agency team is very enthusiastic about this mandate and we have no doubt that Alagoa Office & Retail Center will be a huge marketing success. We can certainly say that more than a new venture, this is the ‘project’ the market has been looking for: there are five new, large, modern office buildings, built from scratch and developed according to the most demanding requirements. The area benefits from excellent road, and public transport links and is also next to the new SBE Campus, a centre for talent in the Greater Lisbon area.
