Tim Vieira Creates IHPF €500-Million Hospitality Fund

16 January 2020 The Portuguese executive Tim Vieira has created the Iberia Hospitality Property Fund (IHPF) in conjunction with a group of international investors. The €500-million fund will invest in the hospitality sector, acquiring existing hotels in Portugal.

The fund’s goal is to buy hotels in operation in Portugal in exchange for an annual return of between 5% and 7%. IHPF w0uld acquire the assets while maintaining the existing operational structure. The owners could use the funds to pay down debt or acquire other hotels, for example.
