Inspira Santa Marta’s Owner to Open Two New Hotels

27 August 2018

Investoc, which owns the Inspira Santa Marta in Lisbon, will open two new hotels in Lisbon by 2021. The announcement was made by Filipe Osório de Castro, CEO of the company to the Turismo de Lisboa magazine, which confirmed the two new investments: a hotel in the Santos area, which should be ready by 2020 and another hotel, also in Lisbon, by 2021.

According to the company’s director, “we had been looking for a new business opportunity for some time, one that has now materialised with the purchase of a building in the area of Santos/Madragoa. It will be a 65-room boutique hotel – we have yet to choose a name – that is in the licensing phase. Despite maintaining the characteristics of the Inspira brand, this hotel will have a trendy concept and will bet on modern technologies. We will invest a total of 12 million euros, creating between 35 and 40 jobs. We are also analysing the market with the intention of acquiring another property with the same objective, also in the Portuguese capital, by 2021. In other words, we plan to have three hotels operating in Lisbon by 2021.”
