Exe Liberdade Opens its Doors

8 August 2018

The Exe Liberdade, the 13th unit that the Eurostars Hotel Company, a hotel division of the Hotusa Group, is managing in Portugal and the fourth in the country’s capital, has already been inaugurated.

The opening comes after the Spanish group also opened the five-star Eurostars Museum, also in Lisbon, at the beginning of the year.

The three-star Exe Liberdade, which is run from leased property, has 163 rooms in an eight-storey building. Each room has decorati0ns referencing the Portuguese capital city, including a large format photograph of some symbolic or iconic place in the city, simulating a window. The hotel also has a bar/café and covered parking.

The president of the Hotusa Group, Amancio López Seijas, believes that “within the framework of our international expansion plan, Portugal is one of our more solid bets and the destination in which we have more presence and a more consolidated structure. That is why, considering our very good experience to date, we intend to continue to grow in this country, and we already have several new projects underway.”

It should be noted that the Hotusa Group will also open the Exe Parque das Nações, a 172-room,  three-star hotel in 2019, in addition to the 5-star, 168-room Eurostars Parque das Nações, also next year. Two more hotels in Lisbon are under analysis in Lisbon, along with two other projects in development in Porto, four- and five-star hotels.
