ECS Capital announced its intention to sell off six of its assets in Portugal by the end of this year in a policy of asset rotation. Those assets include the Governor’s Palace, in Belém, though the names of the other five were not revealed. The firm did reveal that the assets are located in the Algarve and Porto. The Portuguese private equity and restructuring firm largely focuses its investments in the hospitality sector.
ECS has invested in a range of properties, including the Cascade Wellness Resort, Herdade dos Salgados (now part of the NAU Hotels & Resorts brand), the Salema Beach Village, the Conrad Hotel and the Hilton-branded Cascades Golf Resort & Spa, all in the Algarve.
