Bensaúde Group to Renovate Hotel on the Edge of Ponta Delgada

The Grand Hotel Azores Atlântico, in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores, is the Azorean Bensaúde Group’s latest unit, resulting from the renovation of the former Hotel Azores Atlântico.
The group’s new unit is a five-star hotel located on the Ponta Delgada seafront, next to the marina, and has 140 rooms – including 5 Suites and 5 Junior Suites – 6 conference rooms, indoor heated swimming pool and gym, a restaurant and a bar-lounge with terrace.
The hotel’s à la carte restaurant has an exclusive menu inspired by Azorean cuisine and products, with stunning views of the Ponta Delgada Marina. The renovated hotel began operations yesterday.
The Bensaúde Group currently has seven hotels, six of which are in the Autonomous Region of the Azores. One is in Lisbon.
