Borio Mangiarotti to build 72 new apartments in Rozzano (Milan)

Real estate developer Borio Mangiarotti, a Värde Partners affiliate, acquired a 6,000 Sqm former industrial area in Rozzano (Milan) to build 72 new apartments. The residential complex will feature a common garden, a gym and a co-working space. Construction is expected to start in Q1 2023.

Hines to invest €200 mln on first office campus in Milan

Hines is looking to broaden its office portfolio by investing €200 million in the requalification of Via Tortona business district to create Milan’s first office campus. The project, which will consist of four buildings covering a 30,000 Sqm surface, will target the community and favour collaboration, with services available round the clock. Works will start at the beginning of 2024 and are expected to finish in 2026.

Kryalos to develop logistic hub near Verona

Through its European Core Property Fund Italy, Kryalos SGR is converting an abandoned industrial area 10 km from Verona into a 61,000 Sqm logistic hub with LEED Gold certification. The site will have 83 loading docks and two warehouses, one of which is currently under construction, while the other will be ready by Q3 2023.

Hines launched new lot in MilanoSesto valued €1 bln

Hines to build student halls in Manifattura Tabacchi, Florence

With an €80 million investment, Hines will requalify a 16,000 Sqm building in the former tobacco factory (Manifattura Tabacchi) in Florence to turn it into student halls. Aparto will be in charge of managing the facility, which will be completed in 2024. The student halls will be Leed Gold certified and will feature study rooms, a gym, a yoga studio and a movie theatre.

A former military barracks in Milan will be converted into houses

Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence obtained funding from Intesa, Banco Bpm and Mps Capital Services

The requalification project of the old tobacco factory (Manifattura Tabacchi) in Florence got sustainability-linked funding for 92.3 million € from Intesa, Banco Bpm and Mps Capital Services. The loan has a five-year duration and aims to fund the urban regeneration of the 110,000 Sqm industrial area by 2026 in compliance with rigorous environmental sustainability criteria. The project is 40% supported by Cdp Immobiliare and 60% by Aermont Capital.
