Social housing for 200 new apartments to be launched in Milan

A social and urban requalification project to build 200 new apartments in Milan’s Sarpi area has been presented by InvestiRE SGR (Banca Finnat Group), which manages the properties owned by Policlinico di Milano hospital, one of the investors of the project. The operation consists of an investment of €40 million to develop long-term rental and social housing units to meet the demand for housing in Milan.

New logistic hub to be created in the port of Trieste

Icop plans to develop a logistic hub in Servola steelworks, which had closed two years ago. The project has been granted €20 million in funding by BNL BNP Paribas and UniCredit and is guaranteed by insurance company SACE. The operation is included in a broader project which implies the requalification of the industrial and port activities, the environmental recovery and the reconversion of the Servola plant.

Borio Mangiarotti to build 72 new apartments in Rozzano (Milan)

Real estate developer Borio Mangiarotti, a Värde Partners affiliate, acquired a 6,000 Sqm former industrial area in Rozzano (Milan) to build 72 new apartments. The residential complex will feature a common garden, a gym and a co-working space. Construction is expected to start in Q1 2023.

Hines to invest €200 mln on first office campus in Milan

Hines is looking to broaden its office portfolio by investing €200 million in the requalification of Via Tortona business district to create Milan’s first office campus. The project, which will consist of four buildings covering a 30,000 Sqm surface, will target the community and favour collaboration, with services available round the clock. Works will start at the beginning of 2024 and are expected to finish in 2026.

Kryalos to develop logistic hub near Verona

Through its European Core Property Fund Italy, Kryalos SGR is converting an abandoned industrial area 10 km from Verona into a 61,000 Sqm logistic hub with LEED Gold certification. The site will have 83 loading docks and two warehouses, one of which is currently under construction, while the other will be ready by Q3 2023.

Prelios launched construction works of Jesolo Living Blue Resort

Prelios launched the residential project Jesolo Living Blue Resort, 6 km from Jesolo (Venice) city centre. The buildable area covers over 25,380 Smq and will see the construction of 114 apartments in the first phase of the project and three other buildings accommodating residential units and hotel facilities in the second phase. The works are expected to be completed by 2025. The project aims at revaluating properties which had been put as a guarantee of distressed credits (UTP).

Borio Mangiarotti to build 56 apartments in former industrial area in Milan

The area will be requalified to build 56 apartments covering 5,500 Sqm with a €16 million investment. The former Hennebique silos in Genoa to be requalified

After being abandoned for over 50 years, the old Hennebique silos in Genoa old town will be requalified by Vitali with an investment of 100 million €. The premises, which cover 40,000 Sqm, will be turned into hotels and tourist offices and services. Its requalification will link Genoa old harbour with the tourist port, completing the renovation of the city’s waterfront.

Former Palazzo Poste in Florence will become a Camplus student residence
