Rents for the shops in the centre of Rome are rising

06 February, Milano Finanza

The growth trend of the Italian retail real estate market continues also for 2018. After Milan, it’s now the turn of Rome. Among the high streets of the capital, Piazza di Spagna has seen its rents rising by 20% in three years (2014-2017), thanks to prime properties of the highest quality, capable of attracting the international brands of luxury. As a result, if in 2014 5,000 euro/Sq m/year were enough to rent a space, now rents reach 6,300 euro/Sq m/year, with an average vacancy time in Piazza di Spagna that doesn’t exceed two months.
