Palermo and Genoa are the most convenient cities

Rome is the most expensive city. With 200 thousand euro one can afford only 68 Sq m, 37 Sq m in the old town. The figures are taken from the research carried out by Tecnocasa, which analysed the main Italian cities considering the average price of houses in the second semester of 2017 (hence excluding the high-range prices). Milan comes second, where with the same amount it’s possible to buy 71 Sq m, which become 38 Sq m in the city centre. Florence is the third most expensive city: 200 thousand euro buy 77 Sq m, 61 Sq m in the centre, while the average in Naples is 95 Sq m. The least expensive cities are Palermo and Genoa, where with the same expense one can buy 174 Sq m.
