Luxury houses on the lake: the market is fuelled by foreigners according to Engel & Völkers

On the shores of Como lake, international buyers are 70% of the total. There has been a 20% increase in the inquiries from 2018. Cernobbio and Menaggio are the most expensive destinations with prices comprised between 4,000 and 5,500 euro/Sq m.
On Lake Maggiore, foreigners are 75% of the total. The most exclusive destinations are Stresa, with 2,800-3,300 euro/Sq m, and Cannobio, with 2,900-3,200 euro/Sq m.
