Immobiliare.it: rents in Milan grown by 9%

While rent prices in Milan increased by 9%, the demand grew by 7%. The offer has been reducing by 5% y/y due to the rise of short-term rentals.

The most expensive areas are Garibaldi-Porta Nuova and the old town, where the monthly rent averages respectively 1,777 euro and 1,733 euro. The fastest-growing neighbourhood is Maggiolina reporting an 18% increase. The lowest rents are in Chiesa Rossa and Ponte Lambro, with about 800 euro a month.
