Unicredit gets ready for another maxi NPL operation
13 June, Finanza Report
Unicredit is preparing another operation included in its derisking strategy. The operation concerns a portfolio of secured NPL for a nominal value of about 2 billion euro.
The operation has been called Milano. It will join the other project, Torino, for the same nominal value but mainly composed of unsecured loans.
Considering the quality of the collateral, Unicredit aims at obtaining a good price for the Milano portfolio. It may result in the biggest operation of this type ever carried out by the bank guided by Jean Pierre Mustier.
In the meanwhile, the Unicredit shares reported at 09:32 a +0.8%, set at 14.60 euro, with the Ftse Mib slightly above parity.
