Torre Sgr invests in social housing in Olbia

The property fund for social housing of the Region of Sardinia managed by Torre Sgr has acquired Corte Fiorita, a residential complex located in Olbia, in Via del Castagno. The fund belonging to Sif (Integrated Funds System) for social housing controlled by Fia (an investment fund for housing) managed by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Investimenti Sgr, was incorporated in 2014 as per a decree by the Region of Sardinia, and it sees among its investors Fondazione di Sardegna e Confidi Sardegna.

The property fund, that has underwritten investment s for about 50 million so far, aims at investing in the territory in high-energy standards and environmentally sustainable properties in order to increase the social housing offer. The complex in Corte Fiorita is composed of four buildings, two finished and two to be finished, for a total of 60 apartments and common spaces available to the residents. The beginning of the works is scheduled by the mid-December and the end is for September 2018. Of the flats, 30 are destined to long-term subsidised lease, 18 to immediate subsidised sale, 12 to subsidised lease with the right of redemption. The houses will be assigned through public contract.
