Times halved for foreclosures

20 March, Italia Oggi

A recent study presented to the Court of Vicenza shows that it’s possible to improve the performance of property foreclosures, being a critical aspect of real estate. Specifically, when using the MCA (Market Comparison Approach) method to appraise properties, the price/value ratio increased for 60,37% of the 1015 examined cases. Properties are generally sold at the second action, while houses evaluated according to the synthetic method sell at the fourth action. The interval between seizure and adjudication reduced by 35% and the interval between adjudication and transfer decreased by 43%.
