The luxury properties attract foreign investments. Investments in Italy for 25 billion

The real estate investments in Italy by foreign investors in the last few years have reached 25 billion euro: only in 2015, sales for 2.5 billion were finalized and the analysts of the industry see and additional growth for Italy, since it is seen as a “safe” country, spared by  international terrorism and not presenting  uncertainties such as Brexit or Trump. The main investors are American funds like Blackstone and private equities with a timeframe of 3-5 years, that aim at an appreciation, or institutional funds, as those of the Gulf, and big insurance companies.
