07 April, Fortune Italia
Confetra, the Transports and Logistics Confederation, reports that the industry lost revenues for 18 billion euro following the coronavirus outbreak, corresponding to a 35%-45% reduction in transited goods. Rail transport decreased by 50% after the lockdown, while intermodal transport has remained substantially stable. Air cargoes sank by 40%-50%, and last-mile deliveries declined by 70% in March.
