Solo Affitti; rents increased by 2.1%. Bologna is the fastest-growing, negative trend for Rome
08 November, Il Sole 24 Ore
Solo Affitti reported that rentals increased on average by 2.1%, with prices amounting to 616 euro a month. Short-term rentals played an important role in such growth, thanks to the high returns they offer, together with the limited number of properties available for rent. This is particularly true for Bologna, Florence and Milan, where a good number of houses is being rented to tourists.
The sharpest growth was registered by Bologna (+9.8%), Bari (+6.9%) and Palermo (+6.8%), followed by Milan (+6.3%) and Genova (+5.9%). On the other hand, Rome declined by 4.5%, followed by Cagliari (-4.2%), Naples (-3.2%), Catanzaro (-2.9%), Ancona (-2.5%), Perugia (-2.1%) and Turin (-0.8%).
