Smeralda Holding to invest 120 million euro in the hotels in Sardinia in the next five years

The subsidiary of the Qatar Investment Authority Smeralda Holding plans to invest 120 million euro in the requalification of hotels in Sardinia for the next five years.

The Cervo, Pitrizza and Romazzino hotels in Porto Cervo, Costa Smeralda, will be overhauled, while the Cala di Volpe Hotel has just been restructured. The four hotels offer 360 rooms in total and mainly cater to American, Italian and French guests.

After the renovation of the hotels, the portfolio will be put for sale. Besides the hotels, the portfolio also includes bars, restaurants, shops, the Porto Cervo Marina and the related port facilities, a golf course, plots of land and other real estate assets.
