Saipem is planning its new headquarter

07 January, Milano Finanza

Saipem is planning a new headquarter in Milan. The global leader in drilling, engineering, procurement, construction and installations of pipelines and plants for the oil and gas sector is currently evaluating the possibility of implementing a new operational base in the Rogoredo area.

The company headed by the president Francesco Caio and Ceo Stefano Cao selected the site close to the Sky Italia headquarters. Specifically, the project concerns the lots Spark 1 and Spark 2 (20-30 thousand Sq m of total surface) which are part of the Santa Giulia complex.

A special purpose vehicle will be created also involving Lendlease. The Australian developer, in fact, defined together with Risanamento the plan for the re-opening of the construction site in the area.

Saipem will pay a lease of 15 million euro a year, the same rent paid by Sky for the buildings nearby.
