Rents increasingly higher in Milan

According to Idealista.it, the demand for rentals in Milan increased by 84.7% in the last year, while the offer decreased by 9.6%. Needless to say, rent prices have also risen, having grown by 22.6% from 2014 according to the portal. Only in the last 12 months, the increase has been equal to 3.9% with peaks of over 9% registered in the old town. The most popular properties are one-bedroom apartments, representing one-third of the demand.
