Prices of holiday homes in mountain destinations dropped by 34% in the last ten years

Tecnocasa reports that prices of holiday homes in the Italian mountain destinations have been declining since the last couple of years. In the first semester of 2019, properties registered a 1.9% decrease. The region of Abruzzo reported a 63% slump, Valle D’Aosta and Piedmont decreased respectively by 2.4% and 1%, while Trentino-Alto Adige remained substantially stable. From a long-term perspective, property prices in mountain destinations have reduced by 34.4% from 2009 to 2019.
