Hospitality: 11,000 more rooms between 2020 and 2022

According to the latest report by World Capital, 11,000 new rooms will be available on the Italian hospitality market between 2020 and 202. The sector is led by Lazio (3,536 rooms in the pipeline), followed by Tuscany (1,677), Veneto (1,412), Sicily (964) and Lombardy (873). Sardinia and Campania also offer good opportunities, respectively with 534 and 467 rooms.
Last year hospitality became the second asset class after offices with a 25% market share, as reported by Colliers. Rome is the first market, representing 35% of the total, followed by Venice and Milan.
