Galluria leads tourism in Sardinia

06 August, Il Sole 24 Ore

Scenari Immobiliare reports that the property market for holiday homes in Sardinia is in good shape, with transactions grown by 16% in Costa Smeralda. All the main destinations reported a growth: Alghero (+9.5%), Olbia (12%), La Maddalena (28%), Santa Teresa (12.1%), Golfo Aranci (13.9%), Aglientu (18%), and Porto Torres (7.9%). 60% of the buyers are foreigners.  Galluria, in the hinterland, is also doing very well. The region caters to a different target from Costa Smeralda, offering a more authentic lifestyle and not as strictly connected to the beach.
