A five-stars resort to be built in Noto by 2019

19 October, Il Sole 24 Ore

Noto will have a luxury five-stars resort. The former masseria of the Prince Nicolaci will become a boutique hotel with 34 suites, 26 of which of 70 Sq m and 8 villas of 80 and 130 Sq m with a private pool each. Paolo Gionfriddo, San Raffaele Srl Ceo and President in Genoa introduces the project signed by Simone Paoletti e Corrado Papa, respectively Genoa- and Noto-based architects during the Forum del Sud event. For an investment of 15 million, the works are about to start, and the facility should be operational by spring 2019. Located few kilometres from the old town, on a 12 hectares land, the project will rise on a 5,000 Sq m area. “The structure will develop on just one level – comments Gionfriddo – besides the rooms, there will be a small spa, a little church, a 28 per 32 metres swimming pool and a second one of 4.5 per 100 metres. We’ll use for 70% the already existing structure. For what concerns the restaurant, we’re starting a partnership with the chef Ciccio Sultano, as we think food is an essential element for a successful hotel.
