Blackstone and Starwood interested in the Mps assets

02 February, Il Sole 24 Ore

Buyers are getting ready for the upcoming transfer operation by Mps of its real estate asset for an amount of 600 million euro. Among the competitors, there are primary financial groups such as Blackstone, as well as American and British funds like Starwood, Tristan Capital Partners, Lonestar, Apollo and Cerberus. There isn’t any official documentation yet, and the advisor Duff & Phelps Reag is currently working on the teaser to send to potential buyers. It will be, in any case, the biggest real estate operation of the year. The portfolio includes a historical building in Rome’s shopping street, Via del Corso. There are also two offices in Florence near Santa Maria Maggiore church and Via dei Sassetti. The operation will probably include also the former Milan office in Via Santa Margherita 11.
