Aew buys 22 Via Torino, the building will speak Japanese

The real estate market in the city centre is particularly lively these days. The international investors have been showing their interest in investing in the city of Lombardy even after Brexit. Recently Aew Europe has acquired for 18.5 million euro a retail asset based in number 22 of Via Torino: a strategic position, in one of the main shopping streets.

The operation was completed with the assistance of the team from Capital & Markets Retail of Cushman & Wakefields. The building is developed on a surface of 850 Sq m, on three levels. The property is entirely rented to the Japanese chain of stores Muji, which will shortly open its new store.

At the end of the negotiations, Andrea Orsa, Head of Capital Marks Retail, declared: “We are very glad to have assisted AEW in its second acquisition in Italy finalized under name of the Fund AEW Europe City Retail Fund. This operation confirms the great interest of the institutional investors for the high street retail segment in general and for the city of Milan in particular”.
