Two Indigo Hotels coming up in Venice and Milan

20 January, Travel Quotidiano

The hospitality group H.n.h. Hotels and Resorts has chosen the brand Indigo Hotel from Ihg for the new hotel located in Sant’Elena, in Venice, that will open in 2019 after the completion of the renovation works and the needed adjustment works to the standard of the hotel chain throughout the year. The building was built in the 30es and was used as a cloister till its conversion into a hotel in 2003.

“We’ve owned and have been managing the hotel in Sant’Elena since 2005 – says Luca Boccato, H.n.h. Hotels and Resorts Ceo – but we believe that the brand Indigo Hotel will bring added value to a facility that is already very much appreciated by guests and that has still a lot of potential to express”. Hylko Versteeg, the associated vice president for Ihg for market development in Southern Europe, adds: “This is a crucial moment for us, considering that the Indigo Hotel in Milan, in Corso Manforte, will be inaugurated next year and the number of hotels all over Europe will double in the next 3-5 years. The brand Indigo Hotel, in fact, is having a lot of success among guests and hoteliers, and we’re eager to expand further our presence”.
