Humanitas is selling the real estate assets to Axa

The properties of Humanitas might change owner soon. According, the rumours, in fact, the hospital owned by Techint is negotiating in exclusive with the insurance group Axa to sell its real estate assets valued around 300 million euro.

The portfolio under negotiation concerns the hospital located in Rozzano (near Milan) and the newly inaugurated campus in Pieve Emanuele, as well as the Humanitas Gavezzeni in Bergamo and two clinics in Turin, Cellini and Fornaca. The assets occupy a surface of 150 thousand Sq m for a total of 1,200 beds. The group headed by Gianfelice Rocca is to obtain liquidity to grow further in the hospital sector.

The negotiations might take longer than expected since the group is a partner of Ubi Banca and it will have to find an agreement with the bank.
