650 beds for the Santa Marta campus

03 October, Il Sole 24 Ore

A sample of the rooms of the campus Santa Marta destined to the students of the Ca’ Foscari University will be presented tomorrow in Venice. The event is open to students so that they’ll be able to preview the new student halls for 650 beds in total which will be completed by 2019.

Each room features a bed, a closet, a desk, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. The student house will also offer a series of services: about one-third of the surface will be occupied by common areas as well as educational and leisure facilities.

The project is signed by the Venice Board for Projects which assigned the works to Cmb in 2017. The renovation works of the complex of historical buildings amounting in total to 30 million are funded by CdpInvestment Sgr (Fondo Fia), by Fondo Aristotele (fully underwritten by Inps) and Fondo Erasmo managed by Fabrica Sgr. The project is also financed for 4 million by the Ministry for Education University and Research (Miur).
