Piraeus Real Estate: Investment Opportunities in hospitality RE
The hospitality sector in Greece has been improved significantly. In Athens, soon there will be 5000 new hotel beds. Moreover, there are 30% more 5-star hotels in Greece than in 2011. As Georgios Kormas, CEO of Piraeus Real Estate said during an event held by the Spanish Embassy in Athens, Greece has improved as a top holiday destination.
According to Mr. Kormas, Piraeus RE has been actively managing all its RE assets throughout their life cycle, collaborates with all the Group’s units to have a complete market overview, and implements a dynamic exploitation policy for the real estate, including hotels. At the event, Spanish companies were informed about the dynamics and the investment opportunities in the Greek hospitality RE market.
