New bidding for the former department store FOKAS building in Athens

The Subsidiary Insurance Fund (ETEAEP) announced a public bidding for three of its properties, among which the flag building on Stadiou Street that housed the department store FOKAS.

The bidding will be done through the submission of closed bids for a lease of 15 + 5 years. The deadline for the bid submission is Thursday March 19th. The minimum recommended monthly rent is €45,000.

The 5-storey property is located on building 66011 and it is surrounded by Stadiou Street, Pesmazoglou Street, Sofokleous Street, Aeolou Street (Kotzia Square Pedestrian Street) and Georgiou Stavrou Street. It belongs to the 1st district of the Municipality of Athens and has a total gross surface area of ​​8,453.08 square meters, on a plot of 1,225.83 square meters. The building is located in the heart of Athens, and is easily accessed by Metro and all public transportation means.

The fund also announced a public tender for the lease of 12 years, of a six-storey detached property 845.15 sq m, without its ground floor shops, at 8 Menandrou 1 and Euripidou Street, Athens. The minimum recommended monthly rent is €5,500. The closing date for the submission of binding tenders Thursday, February 27th.

ETEAEP will also hold a tender for one of its assets in Piraeus. It is a multi-storey commercial property located at 4 Louvdikou Street, opposite the ISAP Athens-Piraeus Railway Station. The building consists of a basement, ground floor and 8 floors.

Its ground floor shop is leased and is not included in this notice. The lease for the 1.418,00sqm property is set at €9,500.
