NBG closes 41 branches all over Greece

Forty-one branches in Athens, Thessaloniki and the rest of the country are being closed by the National Bank, as part of its digital transformation.

The announcements were made almost simultaneously with the new voluntary exit program, which also provides increased incentives for the employees of the branches to be closed. The necessary, due to the adaptation to the new conditions, reduction of the network will be completed in a few months, with the closing of more branches.
