FirstCapital becomes the 23rd licenced servicer in Greece

The Bank of Greece approved the 23rd servicing license in the country. The license was granted to FirstCapital Loan and Credit Management Company. Nikolaos Marantos is the Chairman and the CEO of the company.

Mr. Marantos was a former liquidator of the Agricultural Bank and the Agricultural Leasing, recording high recoveries during his tenure (approximately €750 m). Also, Mr. Marantos and the company of NMadvisors (shareholder of FIRSTCAPITAL) supports current Special Administrations such as: Skaramaga Shipyards, LARCO SA, Stasinopoulos Clinics (Thessaloniki).

Having extensive experience in the field of restructuring and business consolidation, Mr. Marantos is also one of the liquidators of Hellenic Steel who signed last November the transfer of the company’s assets to the buyer company Hellenic Steel Acquisition Co.

The decision to grant a servicing license to FirstCapital was published on April 16 by the Credit and Insurance Committee of the Bank of Greece.
