Eurobank to sell 950 properties
The bank is accepting binding offers for the Star and Opus portfolios. Bain Capital and Brook Lane Capital are among the bidders.
Star and Opus are the first RE portfolios not related to NPLs. They came through recoverable auctions and foreclosures and have a total book value of € 110 million. In addition to those two, the bank will put for sale another 150 – 200 properties of all kinds, from residential to industrial, within the next months.
The Star portfolio consists of 670 residential properties (houses, plots etc). Its book value amounts to 23-24 million Euros. The Opus portfolio consists of 280 commercial properties (industrial, shops, offices, warehouses, etc.) with a book value of 85 million euros.
