Bank of China to open a branch in Greece

The bank’s head of European operations, Zhou Lihong, announced the branch opening along with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias and Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy, Kostas Fragogiannis.

The Bank of China is the world’s fourth largest bank with nearly $3 trillion in assets. Greece is the seventh European country with a branch, following Luxembourg, the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Hungary.
