Unibail-Rodamco Invests €255 Mn in Palma Springs Retail Park

Unibail-Rodamco has spent €255 million on a new shopping center called Palma Springs, built in the Playa de la Palma district of Palma de Mallorca, the Balearic Islands.

The property has a 70.000 square meter GLA (gross lettable area), officially reserved for such brands as Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pull&Bear, Oysho, Zara Home and Lefties that altogether will occupy more than 8.000 m2. Also, Mango and Violeta, and an Auchan hipermarket are taking part in the project. The mall will become complete with 35 restaurants and a Cinesa cinema with 12 screening rooms covering 6.200 m2 in total.

After its inauguration in 2016, the retail complex will be open 365 days a year and will house 200 shops in total. Moreover, the plans of Unibail-Rodamco assume the mall to be surrounded by a 200.000 square meter green area.
