GE Closing Sale of 9 Office Buildings to Meridia Capital

Meridia Capital has presented the highest bid for nine office units, standing in Madrid or Barcelona, at a tender organized by GE Capital Real Estate.

Although the decision is not firm yet as the offer of the investment fund positions below the 130 billion asking amount, it is said that the Horizon asset portfolio may fall into hands of Meridia at the end of the year.

Among the nine properties, the Meridian skyscraper deserves a close attention. Situated on the Rio de Janeiro street in Barcelona, 18-storey, the building has 24.000 square meters in total (pictured, the unit overtowering others).
